The step drill bit is made of HSS (high-speed steel) and coated with TiN (titanium). It has a very long service life when used with coolant. Visible and durable hole diameter markings thanks to laser markings on both spiral flutes of the bit. In addition, the 3-flat shank prevents the bit from slipping in the chuck and also enables greater torque transmission to the drill tip.
